Israel. .. we are on our way

Our first leg is behind us. Flew unevenfully from Wenatchee to New York. We a really very excited to get there. We met one of our felow travelers froWaterville at the Wenatchee airport.

Why "The Breakaway"?

The focus of this blog is to allow the reader to breakaway from your day to see how our days are going and find out what we have been doing and where we have been.

Our "Breakaway" is patterened after a bike race... rather than just the human race. The group that moves out front... ahead of the peleton... the main group of riders... is called "the breakaway. They leave the group behind and pursue the goal on their own.

For those who really love symbolism (which I'm sure applies to all who would bother to read this) we want to point out an even deeper meaning to this. As followers of Jesus we know that we must breakaway from the crowd and pursue the narrow way rather than the broad way.
