New Things To Do and See Everyday
We have seen so many families traveling and I wish we had done more of this with our kids when they were little. Sorry Dave and Jeff... we get smarter as we get older.
We have a wonderful home on wheels which I call the ArrVee with a little twist to it... picture... a guy... beer belly, cargo pants, big hat (any kind) sitting in a fold out chair, VERY friendly and chatty. Seriously you get to meet and observe all kinds of people doing this. Almost everyone IS nice and IS friendly. Not everyone is upper middle class, educated, Christian, and "our type". That is one of interesting aspects of traveling this way.
We are also seeing new, breathtakingly beautiful and always interesting things. You never know what is just around the corner. Some things are not beautiful but they are almost always interesting... sometimes puzzling and we try to get on line to get more information. If you are looking for a new experience and a way to broaden you life and the life of your family or those who might be traveling with you then leave the TV behind you, rent or buy an ArrVee and hit the road.
Today the weather was not as ideal as the past few gorgeous sunny days. But we had sun for awhile, then clouds, rain, snow then some more sun. I think it will get pretty cold tonight and maybe we will wake up to snow on the ground. There is already a little that has begun to stick
We hiked Red Canyon today... pictures above.
