It probably rains three times a year in Moab... at least that is the way it looks... very dry... very warm. But, nevertheless, we awakened to gently falling rain and 54 degrees. The picture above is from yesterday's ride.
Therefore, based on the conditions, it is hardship duty time! Put on an extra pot of coffee and grab your Kindle and cozy in. So for the "Breakaway group" when it rains the (bike)saddle sores get a reprieve and the only hazard might be eyestrain. We are looking forward to seeing the sights but are blessed instead with a day of pure relaxation. How many of you reading this would go for that?
